The HALF TIME hooter goes and that last try by Reinach has put the Sharks on the front foot and taken momentum away from the Lions who were surging forward.

TRY - A piece of Individual brilliance from Cobus Reinach sees him jink past the defensive line from the lineout as well as step the full back to slide over for his second try of the competition.

The Sharks are looking a bit lethargic in some aspects of their play and the Lions are trying to pounce upon it as they win a penalty and line up for the posts


PENATLY - Steyn gets another long range one over to push out the lead


Referree's assistant has a flag out for foul play and they have a look on the screen, Ruan Combrinck is penalised for leading with the elbow, its now in Steyn's range about 57 meters out


Lions have a go from the scrum but its kicked away and referee goes back for the advantage from the scrum - lions scrum looking better after than first tighthead

Lions try and keep it tight in attack but are penalised then marched back 10 for throwing the ball away so Steyn decided to take the chance for a long range kick

The Sharks big men are now bashing up, trying to soften the defense, they win a penalty for the Lions going off their feet and Steyn steps up for the kick

TRY - After a good maul from the Lions the ball is stolen by Cobus Reinach and swung out wide Lwazi Mvovo puts on the gas and chips through for Paul Jordaan who steps well to slide over the line


Lions are struggling to get out of their half as their kicks are mostly aimless, Steyn gives it a massive boot to put the ball out on the full, Lions chance to attack now


Sharks are happy to bash it up, even flyhalf Steyn has a go but looses it forward

The Sharks have a late change with Pat Lambie contracting tick bite fever, Frans Steyn takes over at flyhalf with Heimar Williams taking his spot in the centres, Fred Zeilinger comes in on the bench


Conditions in Durban are as usual humid but dry, the ball will no doubt be a little greasy however.


Welcome to Durban and this final match of the weekend as the two best place South African teams tackle each other in what should be an intriguing match. Jake Whites team coming back from a bye should see them well rested while the Lions are coming off a loss from their rivals the Bulls.
