Minute Commentary

That's the end of Super Rugby for another weekend! we saw good victories for the Chiefs, Crusaders, Hurricanes, Force, Brumbies, Lions and Sharks. If you still need more of a rugby fix a tense set up is occurring over in the Six Nations as England need France to beat Ireland for them to be crowned the Champions while the Irish will be looking to beat the French in Brian O'Driscoll's last game in order for them to lift the trophy!

Sharks earn a last minute penalty from the scrum and they set up a line out for one more attempt at the hooter, the ball is knocked and the Reds try and break away but they loose it and the Sharks have another crack, the Sharks go and loose it themselves and the Reds have a go until its finally lost by the Reds and Lambie steps out the field of play for FULL TIME

This time the Sharks do win the tight-head as they search for another try, a penalty is awarded from the previous scrum and the Sharks set for a lineout and start to drive, Coetzee breaks and the ball it recycled to Dale Chadwick who scores the TRY. CONVERSION comes from Lambie right in front

It's a pressure scrum from the Sharks and its almost a tight-head for the home team but the ref want a reset,

Bismark puts in an incredible chip and Mvovo runs onto it but he fumbles the ball and the ref calls it backwards, McLeod is then on hand to pick it up and he is tackled short then stretches for the line and it may be knocked on - the TMO has a hard look and it is deemed a knock on

Marais puts in a good grubber for territory after he sees there is nothing outside of him - this is the first visit into the Reds 22 for the half from the Sharks

The Reds are penalised but Steyn tries to go too long and its not out, the Reds returns it and Reinach finally gets it out. Now the Reds throw it skew and the Sharks opt for a line out, its a good maul but the Sharks are then penalised - it's all full of mistakes for both teams!

Sharks are penalised from a good attacking platform for Lourens Adriaanse coming in on the angle in the scrum and the Reds set up downfield

YELLOW CARD - Beau Robinson is penalised and sent off for taking the man out in the air two times in a row

Sharks are awarded a penalty for the Reds taking a man out in the air, Lambie kicks it as far down field as possible, Sharks need to attack to defend now

TRY - Genia finds some space on the fringes of a ruck after a good break by Beau Robinson and his acceleration gets him over the line. CONVERSION by Cooper

Genia puts in a dangerous kick that bounces unpredictably and Rod Davis cant grab onto it - Reinach is on hand to clear but the Reds are flooding back into the Sharks half

Sharks are still strong in their attack as Coetzee barges over the Reds defensive line to win the Sharks a penalty from which they clear to the half way line

Reinach cuts Davis down and he is isolated, the penalty is awarded and Lambie has a chance to get the first points of the half for the home team. PENALTY - Lambie continues his faultless kicking display

Its all the Reds at the moment as another penalty goes against the Sharks for Sitole being offsides

Sharks are finally out of their half, Lambie kicks it down Coopers throat and he returns it with too much on it, its dotted down and a 22 drop out awarded

TRY - Mike Harris is through the gap after Quade Cooper finds a small hole for him, the Sharks slip some tackles and he is in under the posts. CONVERSION - its an easy kick for Cooper

Kankowski breaks from the scrum and the ball is turned over as the Sharks try and hold onto it, the ref awards a penalty to the Reds and they go for the scrum

A good chip through for Genia slips out his hands as he crosses the line under pressure from Coetzee, its a 5 metre scrum for the Sharks

The ball must be getting slippery as SP Marais drops the ball when shaping to kick, scrum to the Reds, Schatz also fumbles with the ball at the base of the scrum but its backwards

Another great set piece move by the Reds sends Davis through a gap, he passes to Aidan Toua but he fumbles it with the try line at his mercy

More pressure on Reinach from Genia who is able to affect the turn over with the Reds coming close through a Quade Cooper kick, Lambie is able to gather and clear

The Reds finally get a penalty for JP Pietersen putting in a late tackle, Quade Cooper sets the line out for the Reds and they drive but Kankowski is through the middle. The ball is lost and Frans Steyn is able to hack it down field

Reds attack keeps breaking down as they give away another penalty with Coetzee contesting for the ball - Sharks set a line out into Reds half

Early pressure from the Reds but it is knocked on and the Sharks have a scrum in their own 22, Cobus Reinach clears to ball well

We are back under way as Quade Cooper kicks off

Genia throws a great pass to Harris who is in acres of space but he drops it over the line and that's HALF TIME

Sharks have another penalty as Coetzee is congratulated for a steal on the ground and Frans Steyn steps up

PENALTY - Lambie keeps racking up the points as the Reds concede a penalty in their half

Cooper puts in a grubber and the Sharks claim it, the only man on hand is Bismark du Plessis to hoof it down field

Poor work at the base of the scrum for the Sharks as Genia poaches it ends in a lineout and the Reds try and maul it towards the line

TRY - SP puts in an audacious cross kick for Pietersen who offloads for Sitole, he runs well and the Sharks are inches away, the ball is recycled by Alberts and he is over. CONVERSION - Lambie kicks over another one

PEANLTY - its over from Lambie from out in front

PENALTY - Lambie has another one after a high tackle from the Reds captain Horwill

Sharks are under pressure at the lineout but the Reds knock it on and the Sharks have a scrum, Lambie chips for Sitole and he is inches away as the Sharks continue to push towards the 22

Sharks on the attack now as their big men in Pietersen, Alberts and Coetzee get them over the gain line. PENALTY - Lambie gets the three points after the Reds had their hands in the ruck

PEANLTY - Steyn is caught for not rolling away and Cooper is on hand to convert

It's a pressure scrum for the Reds but Genia recycles it and puts in a kick onto the Sharks 5 metre line

More kicking from the back for both teams ends with Genia kicking out for a Sharks lineout but its lost forward from the throw

PENALTY - Steyn bangs it over - 80% kicking record for the season

Some probing kicks from both teams as they feel each other out, the Reds have a lineout on halfway after Lambie kicks out. There is some niggily play by the Reds as James Slipper was caught for holding back - Steyn steps up for a long range penalty

Reds get a penalty and its quickly taken by Will Genia on the halfway line - he kicks for the corner and it rolls out harmlessly

Sharks have a lineout just inside the Reds half and they decide to maul it, now the forwards bash it up until SP Marais kicks for the corner and they get a territorial gain

PEANLTY - Cooper steps up as the Sharks are called offside and slots the kick

The Sharks secure the lineout but Reinach kicks his box kick out on the full and the Reds attack

We are underway in a hot and humid Durban as Pat Lambie gets us underway for the final time this weekend in Super Rugby!

The Sharks have lost Paul Jordaan, Odwa Ndungane and Pieter Steph-du Toit after being able to select the same match 23 for the past rounds - it will be interesting to see how this affects the home team. Etienne Oosthuizen has come in onto the bench for Stephan Lewis

The weather in Durban is very warm and of course, very humid. The Sharks should be used to it, but then again so should the Reds seeing as Brisbane has similar weather

Welcome to Durban as the high flying Sharks get set to take on the traveling Reds at the Shark Tank - the Sharks have been rocked by a few unfortunate injuries and this will be a true test of their often spoken about depth. The Reds have won two from three so far and will want to get thier African tour off to a good start
