That's it for today from Super Rugby but be sure to join us tomorrow as the Blues host the Cheetahs, the Brumbies and Stormers face off, The Force and Chiefs take on each other until finally the Lions host the Reds and the Sharks travel to the Bulls!

The game comes to a sedate end as the Tahs turn over a scrum and a knock on brings the final whistle. Solid victory in the end for the Waratahs

Waratahs have got what they came for in the four try bonus point so are much happier to play territory as the clock winds down

Rebels are almost dead and buried but are still pushing for the Tahs line, its sloppy and ends in a knock on

TRY - a great break from Beale who has now set up three of the four tries tonight, he holds his pass perfectly for, who else, Folau who now has eight tries this season. CONVERSION - Foley adds the extras

Rebels set up a line-out and drive 5 metres out but they knock it on in the maul and the Tahs have a scrum to clear the pressure

Another good break from Higginbotham as he breaks the line but his grubber is stopped dead

Waratahs are still trying thing as they search for that fourth try, Beale tries a kick chip that has a good bounce but its not held and the Rebels have a scrum they need to attack from

Tah's were attacking well but one of their players comes in from the side to cost an attacking penalty as the Rebels clear the ball

More scrum woes for the Rebels who are penalised again as Angus Roberts comes back from the sin bin, Waratahs about 10 metres out with a line-out

Rebels are still looking for points as they work through the phases but it is all very flat mainly due to the intensity of the Waratahs defense, this leads to a Tahs scrum

Rebels are having more problems at scrum time as they are penalised now and the Tahs can now get out of their half to set up an attack

Waratahs effect a tight head from the scrum and the Rebels will regret that decision

Tom Kingston keeps the ball on his foot as he hacks almost the whole length of the field, Potgieter is on hand to knock it into touch. The Rebels earn a penalty that is very kickable but back their scrum

YELLOW CARD - silly from Angus Roberts for the Rebels, he was under pressure at the back and took himself into touch only to throw the ball away, cynical. Penalty to the Tahs

Higginbotham attempts an intercept from a risky offload but he cant hold on as he had the try line open ahead of hime

The game is starting to open up now as the Tahs danger men start to come alive in attack, however, the scrums are still a sticky point - slowing the game down

TRY - who else but Folau is over under the posts all thanks to Beale who put on a slanting angled run across the field only to drop the ball onto Folau who was going the other way. CONVERSION - Foley pops over another easy one

Phipps is pinned for offsides as he tries to climb over the scrum, the Rebels have an easy clearing penalty kick

Ben Robinson is over from close to the line as the ball is recycled from a good break by Alofa Alofa who was stopped inches short but its sent up stairs and the TMO spots a knock on two rucks back

Foley has a break now and is through the first line, he decided to put the kick through for Hooper but its gathered by Hegarty who skews it off the side of his boot for a Waratahs line-out

TRY - Beale plays Peter Betham on an inside ball off a line-out after the Waratahs were deep in Rebels territory after a penalty kick for touch, he is through the defense and dots down early in the second half. CONVERSION - Foley strikes a beauty from the touch line

We are back in Sydney for the SECOND HALF as Bernard Foley kicks off

The hooter sounds as a scrum collapses, there is time for a reset, a penalty is awarded to the Tahs who tap and go quite bravely to see if anything is on deep in their half, sense prevails and they boot it out. Thats HALF TIME

Rebels seeing much more of the ball now but the Tahs are still holding in defense as the visitors look a bit one dimensional, they have bustled their way to the 5 metre line but it is coughed up, Tahs scrum

PENALTY - Foley returns the favor as the Rebels are penalised, Waratahs back in front

PENALTY - Hegarty final gets a kick over as the scores are tied up

Rebels having a crack at attack in the Tahs half as they slowly work through the phases but the Waratahs defense is solid, that is until Foley is caught for not releasing and the Rebels have a shot at goal

PENALTY - Waratahs are able to take advantage of the Rebels missed kick as Foley adds the three points

TRY - Rebels get their reward after some patient build up as Scott Higginbotham barges over from close. Hegarty can't convert the try

Another Rebels penalty as they plug their way up field to put some pressure on the Tahs

Waratahs are fierce on defense as they flood the rucks, Skelton is on hand to turn a ruck over for the Tahs to set a scrum, they are then penalised at the scrum as Paddy Ryan collapses and Rebels clear again

Rebels get a penalty which allows them to finally clear their half as they set a line-out on the half way line

Waratahs are camped in the Rebels half but the scrums are really scrappy as they suck the life out of this game...

Tahs are showing their intent even with the game slowing down as they take a quick tap penalty on the 22 right out in front of the poles

Folau puts in a great chip over the defensive line and is able to gather, he looked set to score but is chased down by Bryce Hegarty to be pulled down 5 metres short, there's a knock on from the Tahs and the Rebles have a pressure scrum

Waratahs are full of running, happy to work it up from their 22 until Foley does decide to kick it long and it rolls out in the Rebels 22 - good net gain

Rebels are under pressure as a clearing kick is charged down but they manage to gather and clear, Foley is then caught around the neck on half way and the Tahs kick for the touch-line

The two teams seem happy to play a bit of aerial ping pong until Bryce Hegarty tries too hard and its out on the full, Tahs line out is not straight, Rebels have a scrum

Bryce Hegarty tries to stab one over but its wide and the Rebels remain on zero

Rebels make slow progress in attack until its turned over and the Waratahs are on hand to counter strongly. The Rebels earn a penalty after the Tahs are caught for hands in the ruck

Foley cant add the extra two points for the Tahs

TRY - Alofa Alofa scores in the corner after great attacking play from the home team, the Tahs are looking sharp and full of energy, it could be a long day for the Rebels

Early pressure from the Rebels but they are over keen as the ref dishes a penalty against them and the Waratahs clear out of their own half

We are under way in New South Wales as Angus Roberts kicks off for the Rebels

It's a clear and sunny day in Sydney which should be benifficial for a team like the Waratahs with players like Israel Folau and Kurtley Beale

Waratahs are a very different team at home and will be looking to run at the Rebels with Israel Folau hoping to add to his six tries already this season. The Rebels did well against the Crusaders in a grinding game, with them only slipping off towards the end, they will be hoping to come out firing against a dangerous Waratahs team

Welcome to Sydney where the Waratahs hope to bounce back after losing to a slick looking Brumbies team while the Rebels will also be looking for a win after going down to the Crusaders in a match that saw them hold the New Zealand side for the majority of the game
