Brumbies still happy to attack with such a small lead as Mogg grubbers through for Coleman but it rolls out, the Brumbies turn the ball over and turn defense into attack as Pat McCabe is over but the TMO needs to have a look, its held up


TRY - Juan de Jong is over after slipping some tackles in the midfield. Grant takes the conversion quickly to try close the gap but he misses a sitter!


Penalty for the Stormers who have held possession well and decide on a kick for touch to set the line out 10 metres out


Stormers have plenty of fresh legs out there as they continue to look for an opening in the defensive line of the Brumbies


Grant cant narrow the gap as he strikes the post and it goes dead for the Stormers


The penalty is wide but the Stormers run it out through Juan de Jong who passes it to Aplon, he makes good metres and they win a penalty in a kickable position


Brumbies earn another penalty in a good kicking position for Nic White who lines it up from a long way out


Stormers get close to the Brumbies line again but they are penalised and they home team has another chance to clear the ball, Stormers getting desperate now


Stormers have another attacking opportunity as Mogg kicks the ball out on the full for the second time, but it is thrown in not straight


TRY - The Brumbies have got the ball over the line after some good strength from Robbie Coleman who snuck in after a kick to ground the ball in the corner, its gone up to TMO and he awards it. conversion is missed


Stormers push into the Brumbies half but are isolated and penalised for holding on, the Brumbies boot themselves onto half way


Stormers have a good scrum opportunity in centre field now as play slows down for Jordan Smiler who is down with cramp, the scrum is reset as time keeps ticking


A lot of players going down with injuries as this game gets more and more physical


Nic White takes a shot at poles but its slides past the post and the lead stays at three


The Brumbies continue to go through the phases but eventually knock it on but they have a penalty advantage and decide to go for the kick at goal


Brumbies getting close now as they siege the Brumbies 22. The Stormers defense is solid and positive, tackling the home team backwards


Finally it calms down as the Brumbies win a penalty and can set a lineout in the Stormers half and attack from a set play


Its a tussle as these teams have both are fighting hard for the advantage, each of them not giving an inch


Stormers earn other penalty in their half, these mistakes are costing the Brumbies as the Stormers are now on attack. Grant attempts a territory kick but it is out on the full but its not gone too bad for the Stormers because the line out is skew

The pace is frenetic as the ball is turned over and over until Aplon receives the kick and marks it to slow the pace down as they have a man in the bin


PENALTY - Bruumbies get a penalty for Deon Fourie not supporting his body weight, Toomua kicks it over


Brumbies start to give the ball some air and make good ground into the Stormers half. YELLOW CARD - Tiaan Liebenberg is carded for a spear tackle after sending it upstairs, it gives the Brumbies more territory as they have a line out in the Stormers 22


Aplon now makes a great break through the defensive line, its slapped up and intercepted but the Stormers win it back and continue to attack, The Brumbies win a penalty as Scott Fardy steals the ball - its frenetic out there!


Brumbies do not have the same spark as they did last week as it looks likes the Stormers are the ones who are full of running this week


Brumbies start to use their famous kicking game but the Stormers back three are up for it as they find themselves in good positions, Kolisi makes a goof break down the right hand touch line but a line out is signaled and the Brumbies need to secure this


Its the Brumbies turn to attack but they are looking sloppy as a solid defensive Stromers line forces a knock on


TRY - Duane Vermeulen storms over the line after the lineout maul is sacked, Vermeulen builds up some speed an is impossible to stop. CONVERSION - Grant adds the two extras on a tight angle


Stormers have a penalty 5 metres out and decide on a lineout, showing their intention


Stormers continue to probe and are looking dangerous as Groom is pulled down a metre short


The Stormers continue to attack but the ball becomes unplayable and now they have a scrum platform to attack from


Stormers have a kickable penalty in the Brumbies half but it is out of Grants range so Aplon puts it into the corner


Brumbies continue to go through the phases as the Stormers defense is happy to sit back, its a Stormers scrum as the Brumbies knocked on in their attack


The Stormers have a lot of the possession but need to be more clinical as the Brumbies steal an attacking line-out ball and are on attack again


Stormers earn a line-out penalty and get themselves into the Brumbies half but it ends in a turn over penalty for the Brumbies


TRY - a great set piece play from a line-out sees Matt Toomua slide through the defensive line and send a great pass to Coleman who goes over int eh corner. CONVERSION - White kicks a great strike from the sideline


PENALTY - Grant makes no mistake this time


Jean de Villiers ghosts through the line from the set piece and passes to Deon Fourie but he is swamped as the Stormers earn a penalty in front of the posts


Grant misses a penalty kick early on in the match and really should have got it over


Brumbies win the first line-out of the game as they snatch the ball out of the Stormers hands but its kicked out on the full and the Stormers have another chance

A late change has seen Schalk Burger being ruled out before kick off, Siya Kolisi replaces him in the run on team


Its a perfect night in Canberra, Jean de Villiers has complimented the surface saying it is one of the best he has seen so expect great conditions for running rugby


The Stormers have gone with old head, Peter Grant at flyhalf and have had to do some rearranging at the back with Gio Aplon shifting to fullback and Sailosi Tagicakibau starting his first game on the wing


The Brumbies are comming off a great win against the much fancied Waratahs from last week and are looking good for the Australian conference title. The Stormers have had a poor start to their season which has been hampered by multiple injuries, but you have to ask yourself, when will it all come good for them? its about time...
