Stay with us as we cross over to the only derby this weekend as the Reds take on the Force in Brisbane!

PENALTY - just to add insult to it, Barrett pops over a three pointer after the hooter and that's FULL TIME

Bulls last shot is cut down quickly as a penalty is taped but the 'Canes are quick on it still deep in opposition territory, the Hurricanes only have to hold on for another 30 seconds as they turn the ball over and win the penalty.

Bulls try a backline move but a massive tackle by Conrad Smith forces the ball to go forwards as we have another scrum, this time for the Hurricanes as time continues to tick down...

Bulls are deep in their own half but they have the scrum, time is ticking away and the visitors are in the wrong half of the field as the scrums need resetting - wasting more time

Hurricanes gift the possession back to the Bulls with a high ball on to Basson as the Bulls look to attack into the 'Canes half but they are penalised and the Hurricanes have a chance to get the ball down the field

Bulls scrum is under pressure in a dangerous zone as the Hurricanes earn a kickable penalty - Barrett steps up to try and take the lead back. The PENALTY is over and the 'Canes will look to hold on

The Hurricanes push up in to the Bulls half but they are looking rattled as the Bulls carry on holding in defense

Bulls have a chance to strike straight back as Reggie Goods becomes villain but the Bulls go for the lineout as they are only 5 metres out - rolling maul time surely? It is a maul but they are counter shoved backwards. The backs get the ball and Handre' Pollard steps inside Jack Lam to cross the line for a TRY. Pollard CONVERTS his own try to give the Bulls the lead for the first time

Hurricanes hake a burst down field through Andre Taylor after a good kick from TJ Peranara, they are on the front food as Reggie Goodes gets close but wins a penalty. PENALTY is over through Barrett

Bulls keep racking up the penalties slowing the Hurricanes momentum and giving the Bulls further opportunities to level the game or take the lead. Bulls set a rolling maul but it doesn't get far

Bulls earn another penalty in a good position as they seem to be piling on the pressure - Hougaard is taken off the ball late and its a silly mistake that gives the Bulls a chance to level the game - Pollard hooks the Penalty and its a bad miss

The Hurricanes are still attacking but are finding it hard to keep the pressure built up as Conrad Smith lies on the wrong side of the ruck trapping Visser from placing the ball back - the Bulls relive the pressure with a penalty kick down field

Lot of handling errors creeping in but this can be attributed to the the game opening up a little bit more, both teams looking to give the ball some air. Bulls scrum sees the ball come for Pollard who puts up a kick down the field

The Hurricanes lineout is looking solid as Peranara kicks the ball down field, Pollard returns it with an up-and-under. The ball is switching possession with a number of small and meaningless kicks from both teams

A Hurricanes attack just on the 22 comes to an end as the ball is turned over, there is no advantage so the Bulls come back for the penalty - Potgieter boots them deep and now the visitors can have a crack if they can sort out their line out. That is Potgieter's last action as he limps off the field - Pollard is on

To add to the 'Canes woes, they are pinned for putting the ball in skew at the scum but it comes good for them as the Hurricanes fetcher, Jack Lam pinches a ball on the ground to give them a penalty - attacking line out in Bulls territory

Hurricanes showing their attacking intent as they swing the ball wide across their own goal line, the ball goes out off a Bulls player and the 'Canes take it quick - deep in their own half. It looks like the momentum is acctually swinging towards the Bulls as they have soaked up a lot of pressure and now perhaps the Hurricanes are out of ideas as they disappear in this second half

Basson hacks through a loose ball, he is able to retrieve it but a one handed jersey grab is the only thing that stops him from scoring a certain try - Bulls on attack now. The Bulls get the ball back just inside 'Canes half so Visser decided on a drop goal but it is wide

Bulls begin the half with a lineout and maul but the rolling maul is not proving to be as an effective weapon as last week. Hougaard goes for a bit of a dart but is blindsided by Jack Lam in a massive tackle, the ball is lost forward and the Hurricanes have a scrum

We are back for the SECOND HALF as Potgieter kicks off for the Bulls in the final 40 minutes of the game

Steve Walsh is happy for that to be HALF TIME as Visser boots the ball deep down the field

Bulls lineout on the 'Canes 22 is overthrown again, the Hurricanes happy to keep running the ball out of their half, Savea breaks some tackles, Perenara puts in a grubber and it rolls out

TRY - Potgieter puts the ball up and it it collected back by Visser who offloads back to the supporting Potgieter he in turn passes it back to Visser who is over the line. The CONVERSION is good

PENALTY - Barrett keeps the score board ticking over

Bulls are under immense pressure from the Hurricanes as Potgieter clears from the back of his in goal area for the 'Canes to have another crack from the lineout - this time the Hurricanes over throw at the line out but they win a penalty for not releasing

This time the Bulls win a penalty at the scrum as Ben Franks is caught for collapsing, Potgieter gives the Bulls some breathing room - Ben Franks looks like he is off after that collapse. The Bulls over through their lineout and the 'Canes continue to make metres

PENALTY - Bulls grind out a penalty for Ben Franks not rolling away which gives Potgieter a kick at goal which is over from 40 meters out

It's a kicking contest, but the Bulls are looking for the touch line while the Hurricanes are looking for open space and attacking options - it finally ends with Barrett finding touch in the Bulls half who continue to kick for territory with little success

Hurricanes attacking game is looking sharp and intuitive as two kicks finds their own players who are able to run up the field, Barrett puts a foot in touch and the Bulls are back in their 22

It is a massive scrum from the 'Canes who are awarded a penalty from it - Barrett lines up for another shot and the PENALTY is over

A spout of aerial ping-pong ends with a great by Andre Taylor, he offloads, but unfortunately its to Dane Coles on the wing, the big hooker is caught by Ndungane, he knocks the ball on and the Bulls have a scrum

PENALTY - Jacques-Louis Potgieter gets the Bulls going with a well struck penalty

The Bulls have a chance to strike straight back off the kick off as a penalty is awarded on the 22 towards the side of the field; the Hurricanes have had 72% of possession so far

TRY - Andre Taylor is on hand to get the ball over the line as Barrett goes for a speculative cross field kick knowing he had the penalty advantage, Cory Jane catches and releases instantly under pressure from Ndungane for Taylor to score the try. The CONVERSION is good from Barrett

Hurricanes are making some good meteres with their offloads, a little kick sees them get close but the Bulls have possession - Hougaard looks for a kicker in the in-goal area but there's no one and he is forced to dot down behind his line - 'Canes 5 metre scrum

Bulls go to their rolling maul which is effective until the ball is swung out and they finally have some possession but it is short lived as the Bulls are penalised once again for holding on - the 'Canes clear and attack from the line out

Hurricanes attempt to bring the ball out from their on 22 until Barrett gives it a boot up, Conrad Smith gathers for the Hurricanes but he runs out into touch - Bulls line out as more of the visiting players are down - Potgieter and Du Plessis have clashed heads

Bulls first carry of the ball sees Jan Serfonteinget isolated and he is penalised for not releasing the ball, the ball is thrown to Barrett to have a shot at goal. the PENALTY is over

It is relentless from the Hurricanes but finally Alapati Leiua knocks the ball on after a poor offload from Savea, Bulls scrum but the visitors are looking like the walking wounded as the medical staff rush on to the field - Stegmann is off

Hurricanes have some broken field play thanks to Alapati Leiua who breaks a few tackles, the Bulls have consolidated now but they cannot get their hands on the ball as they keep making tackles

Hurricanes are full of their usual running with some good continuity early on, they continue to go through the phases but the Bulls are holding strong until a foot in touch sees an end to the attacking build up and a Bulls lineout - which is scrappy

A good Hurricanes line out just outside the Bulls 22 gives them a chance to test out the visitors but the grubber attempt is pushed into touch, pressure still on the Bulls line out - which is missing Matfield

We are underway for this first game on Saturday as Barrett kicks off!

Its a clear night in Napier with only enough of a breeze to get the supporters flags up, the surface is immaculate with this being the first rugby match to be played on it this season. It should be an interesting contest with the structure and might of the Bulls against the flair and attacking prowess of the Hurricanes

The Hurricanes welcome back two big names in All Blacks Victor Vito and Cory Jane, man of the match last week Alapati Leiua moves closer to the ball at inside centre while Brad Shields comes in on the bench

The Bulls have a reputation of being strong in their first few away games, however their talisman, Victor Matfield, will be taking his place in the coaching box this time round - will they be able to continue their form without the big leader?

Welcome to this Super Saturday of Super Rugby, we begin in Napier where the Bulls will be hoping to get their away leg off to the best possible start as well as looking to break the cross Indian Ocean duck that has plagued all traveling teams. The are up against a Hurricanes team that are fresh off a thrilling win against the Crusaders last weekend, the 'Canes will be wanting to further fortify their home ground, keeping the resurgent Bulls out.
