It is chilly, but conditions are good for rugby, the Welsh players will want to force their way into the Test team and the Kings players want to show they can play Currie Cup this year so we should be in for an exciting game between two teams keen to impress.

Wales coach Warren Gatland is hoping that a match like this will give his side a feel for what the short turnarounds in the pool stages of the World Cup next year will be like. It obviously also has the added advantage of getting them warmed up to face the Boks this weekend.

Welcome to live coverage of the clash between the EP Kings and Wales from Port Elizabeth. Wales will face the Springboks in the first Test in Durban on Saturday, so this game will get their tour up and running.
