Boshoff clears into touch so Province have to score from this line-out on the 22. They maul again and then go to De Allende who goes over the 22. Minnie does not release in the tackle so Coleman has a kick to tie the scores. The PENALTY is over and the game ends in a 31-31 draw. Two points for Province and three for the Lions.


They set the maul and the bash towards the line. Grobelaar picks up from the base and gets over the line but Province have the scrum. It goes to Kolbe but the Lions wrap him up. They swing it wide but De Jongh is taken into touch so the Lions have the line-out.


It is WP's turn to chase the game and they have a scrum in the 22 which is a great opportunity to take the lead back. They crash towards the line and their forwards are just short. Kriel had broke early from the scrum and they kick for the corner as they go for the win.


The Lions take it wide and bash away at the line and eventually it is Minnie who forces his way over for the TRY. Boshoff adds the CONVERSION and the Lions lead 31-28.


The Lions have good momentum now and Ntubeni goes offside on halfway. The home side within striking distance now and Boshoff sets up a line-out. They maul it and then drive it up. De Jongh goes offside this time and the Lions kick it in the corner again.


The lions take it up but it is stolen on the ground by Province, Coleman puts a good kick into touch in the 22 to pin the Lions back. They go to Kriel and he busts a tackle to race away. He takes it up to the 22 and the support is there. Jantjies throws a dummy and goes over for the TRY. Boshoff adds the CONVERSION and WP's lead is cut to 28-24


Province win it back and they have it on attack but good pressure from Minnie forces Fourie to hold on too long.


Schreuder is on and he kicks but it is out on the full so the Lions will come again. The line-out throw is not straight so Province get it back and Coleman kicks for territory.


The Lions storm back into the 22 as they look to make use of their one-man advantage. They win a penalty but kick for the corner and maul, but the ref blows them up for 'changing lanes' so Province can clear it.


Province take it up the right and win a scrum. They charge into the 22 and the Lions give away a PENALTY for going offside with Coleman knocking it over.


They chip ahead and Breet wins it back on the 22. The forwards crash it up towards the poles and the Province defence is under pressure. Boshoff steps well and lunges for the line. It goes upstairs but he was short but the TMO advises the PENALTY TRY after De Allende had prevented a probable TRY. De Allende is shown a YELLOW CARD and Boshoff adds the CONVERSION to make it 25-17.


Coleman looks for territory and Boshoff returns it but it goes dead so Province have a scrum in the Lions' half. The feed from Groom is not straight and the Lions take it quickly.


Jantjies clears and Coleman runs it back but then loses it it. The Lions take it over halfway and Cronje breaks away. He is brought down on the 22 but the support go off their feet so Province can clear.


Coleman kicks off and Province win it back. Ntubeni is on and he takes it up. Groom is caught in possession and loses it forward so the Lions have a scrum in their 22.


Boshoff puts it into touch to bring an end to the first half. Province in complete control with a 15 point lead. Join us in ten minutes for the second half.


The Lions do not release in the tackle so Coleman has a shot at goal and the PENALTY is over to make it 25-10.


Province take it over halfway with De Allende finding Kolbe on the left. Carr gets over the gainline as they run the phases and De Allende goes over the 22.


Wepener claims it at the back of a WP line-out and it goes to Volminck who kicks ahead. Van der Linde follows up well and the Lions have it in the left corner. It is spun out to Helberg who races over for the TRY. Boshoff adds the CONVERSION to make it 22-10.


Coleman clears it and Boshoff looks for the corner but Aplon is there. He kicks ahead and the Lions run it back as they look for a response.


It goes to Carr who is brought down just short and then De Allende has a go. It is spun out to Rhodes and Groom is there quickly to give it to Liebenberg who crashes over for the TRY. Coleman kicks the CONVERSION and they lead 22-3


Province have a line-out on halfway but it is lost forward by Steenkamp so the Lions have the scrum. Van der Linde goes down so Coleman kicks for the corner as WP look for a try.


The Lions maul it and they are right there now as Minnie is held up short of the poles. Province were offside so Boshoff kicks the PENALTY to make it 15-3.


Aplon kicks long and Boshoff is there. Jantjies finds Tecklenburg who breaks a tackle in midfield. The support arrives as the Lions reach the 22 and their forward bash and Kitshoff goes offside so Jantjies kicks it into the corner as the Lions look for a try.


It goes to Aplon who chips ahead but the Lions snap it up and send it to Volminck. It goes out to Des Fountain but he is forced into touch so Province will come again from the line-out.


The Lions go to the backline but it is lost forward so WP have a scrum just inside their own half.


Province try to bash it out of their 22 with their forwards making good ground. It goes out to Kolbe and he breaks away again. He finds De Allende who gives it to De Jongh and WP are back in the Lions 22. The Lions go offside so Coleman slots the PENALTY to make it 15-0.


Jantjies attacks the line and the Lions go on the attack. Groenewald knocks on and Kolbe picks up the loose ball and breaks away to score the TRY in the corner. Coleman adds the CONVERSION and WP lead 12-0.


It goes out to De Allende who is tackled into touch and Jantjies clears from the line-out but Provinc runs it back and Kolbe charges down the right. It is worked back to De Allende who is over for the TRY.


Britz is driven back in the tackle and Province win it back. De Jongh takes it over the 22 and they swing it out to Aplon who is brought down just short. The forwards get there in support as they hammer away at the Lions defence.


Jantjies kicks the game off and Aplon clears into touch. WP contest the line-out but then knock it on so the Lions have the first scrum.


It is cold and windy in Johannesburg, which could affect kicking conditions.


Both teams made two changes from last week, with Boks CJ van der Linde and Elton Jantjies coming in for the Lions and Province calling on Tiaan Liebenberg and Nic Groom.
