So, WP survive to stay unbeaten! Thanks for joining us and be sure to catch our live coverage of tomorrow's Currie Cup games.

They get the penalty and build momentum from the tap and go - going through 10 phases - but WP rip the ball free and hoof the ball into touch. That's it!

Griquas win a tighthead and hit it up relentlessly ...

Griquas pick-and-go back into the 22 but a knock-on creeps in!

Stemmet interceps and he's away. Aplon swoops in so Stemmet kicks ahead. Aplon wins the race and does well to protect the ball and allow WP to clear.

Griquas are pinged at the ensuing scrum right in front of the posts so Catrakilis pops over the PENALTY!

Griquas are penalised for collapsing a maul and WP turn down the three points. The driving maul from the line-out gains little ground but WP get a scrum feed for going forward.

Grobler steals the line-out and it goes wide to Kolbe who looks score in the corner but is forced into touch.

WP had advantage, though, so they have another crack. Griquas this time stop the driving maul and Burger Schoeman wins a crucial penalty a metre from the line.

WP attack with a driving maul from the line-out; Rohan Kitshoff peels off and guns for the corner but is taken into touch before he dots down.

Prinsloo fields a high bomb and is driven back a good 10 metres but he does well to place the ball and Hugo clears.

Rohan Kitshoff is caught infringing at the breakdown. Prinsloo takes over the goal-kicking duties and he nails the PENALTY!

Carr breaks after De Jongh snatched the ball but Mnisi makes a great tackle.

Kolbe knocks on as he tries to counter and again WP - despite dominating the scrum - are penalised. The rain comes bucketing down and it sees Scheepers hook his kick at goal.

WP are pinged at this scrum but again Griquas don't find touch from the penalty.

WP win a tighthead - they're really dominating at scrum time. Groom opts to kick the turnover ball and it's straight down Griquas' throat. Not the best option on that occasion.

TRY! WP attack from the line-out and patiently hit it up before Groom darts and dots down from close quarters. Coleman adds the CONVERSION!

Brummer botches the restart as it rolls dead in-goal and WP win another penalty at the ensuing scrum.

A massive scrum by WP earn them a PENALTY and Coleman makes no mistake to narrow the gap to one.

Aplon kicks an up-and-under and does well to pluck it out of the air but the small No.15 is held up in the maul so it'll be a scrum to Griquas as Van den Heever returns.

We're back underway at Newlands!

Coleman hoofs the ball into touch after a final Griquas error so that's HALF-TIME! Griquas lead 10-6 despite having little possession.

Prinsloo breaks away and Scheepers continues the momentum but a stray boot as he's tackled sees the ball come out on WP's side and Aplon clears in a hurry.

Griquas kick into the corner in-goal for a flying Jansen but WP scramble back as the ball rolls dead so it'll be a scrum.

Van den Heever makes a strong run and is stopped only by a crucial tackle by Brummer. Coetzee, in trying to tackle the wing, is knocked out by what is adjudged a punch and Van den Heever is YELLOW CARDED!

WP make a few metres with their driving maul before De Jongh hits it up in midfield. Jansen is caught offside right in front of the posts but WP opt for the line-out only to knock-on from the line-out.

WP concede a scrum penalty after another error at the restart but Brummer doesn't find touch. Burger Schoeman this time is penalised at the deck and Coleman sets up the line-out.

WP make a meal of the restart. Griquas go to Prinsloo from the scrum and he grubbers through for Scheepers who dives and gets the TRY! He adds the CONVERSION!

Marnus Schoeman is penalised at the breakdown and WP get their reward through Coleman's second PENALTY!

Brummer misjudges an up-and-under and Fuzani pounces but he can't scoop up the ball.

Miscommunication between Aplon and Kolbe sees Aplon's wayward pass kicked ahead by Griquas. WP have to scramble back where Griquas knock-on.

Although it's a wet surface it's not raining and WP are happy to attack with width as they rack up 13 phases before the ball is lost in contact by Carr.

Aplon fields a high ball and slices through the line. He kicks for Kolbe who looks to have been tripped as Griquas clears. The TMO is called in but no foul play is detected.

Rohan Kitshoff is blown up for obstruction so Brummer lines up the penalty but this time he's off-target.

PENALTY! Griquas come in from the side after failing to find touch from the scrum and Coleman levels the scores.

WP string together 12 phases before Groom knocks on inside the 22. Promising start though.

Griquas knock-on from the kick-off but WP are pinged at the scrum, which sees Brummer kick the first PENALTY!

Brummer gets us underway.

It's very cold and wet so it's bound to be an arm-wrestle.

Griquas have made a number of changes with Nepgen, Karemaker, Prinsloo, Stemmet and Coetzee coming into the run-on side, so they could struggle to find synergy, especially early on.

The hosts initially made two changes to their starting XV with Rohan Kitshoff and Groom receiving starts but Elstadt’s withdrawal sees Smid start while Katzen and Van der Spuy are included on the bench.

It’s a clash between the unbeaten log leaders and injury depleted wooden spoonists. The teams’ contrasting log positions suggest a mismatch, however, given the atrocious conditions, we could be in for a close contest.
