Fouche kicks high for a change and Coetzee picks it up neatly before rounding one tackler and putting Jansen away out wide. The cover defence comes across and Jansen dabs it ahead but Fouche is there and he dots it down in-goal. |

It is a powerful scrum from the Blue Bulls but Griquas get it away and spread it wide to Vulindlu. Stegmann wins a turnover and Fouche kicks long, again. Brummer runs it back and is swamped by defenders but the Griquas still have it on halfway as they continue to charge at the home side. Brummer hoists this time and Fouche is solid under it. Botha makes a good run before it is sent wide and Griquas are offside again so Fouche will have another shot from the halfway line. He pushes it wide this time. |

Jansen hoists it this time and Fouche claims it. The Blue Bulls work it out to Visser who grubbers ahead but the ball wins the race into touch just inside Griquas territory. Adendorff claims the line-out and it is another maul. The ball is hoisted and Blommetjies can't hold on so Griquas have a scrum just outside the blue Bulls 22. |

Fouche belts it away into touch and the Griquas will attack from the line-out inside the Bulls half. They maul it again and move towards the 22. The Blue Bulls stray offside so Brummer will have a crack at goal. He pulls his kick wide as Le Roux rejoins the fray. |

They go to Downey who crashes it up in midfield before it goes wide to Nel but the Blue Bulls look organised on defence. They go to the left and Le Roux joins the line beautifully before putting Jansen away on the outside. Le Roux is up in support again and draws the last defender before putting Jansen over for the TRY. Brummer nails the CONVERSION and the Griquas lead 10-3. |

The Blue Bulls come again from the line-out on the 22 and Venter crashes it up in midfield before the forwards take over. Griquas go offside in their 22 and Fouche will have a much easier kick at goal. He makes no mistake with the PENALTY to level the scores up at 3-3. |

Fouche tries a long-range drop-goal but comes up short. The ball is returned and Fouche launches a high kick this time. Blommetjies claims it as the blue Bulls go on the attack just outside the 22. They are winning quick ball and take it wide but Ndungane is bundled into touch. |

It is cold but dry in Pretoria as Louis Fouche kicks the game off in front of a sparse crowd. Griqaus secure it before thumping it into Blue Bulls territory and Visser is there. He hoists it and chases hard and the Griquas go offside so Fouche will have an early shot at goal from the halfway line. He comes up short and Willie le Roux runs it back for Griquas. |

A big talking point in this match will be the performance of Griquas centres Stefan Watermeyer and JP Nel who both represented the Blue Bulls for many years. They will be intent on making a big impression in front of the Loftus faithful, and with both of them renowned for their physicality we should see some big clashes in midfield. |
