Griquas make steady ground up the middle as they bash away with their forwards but it is slow ball and Schoeman is eventually turned over. Mtembu links well with Ludik and McLeod is there in support to go over for the TRY. Lambie adds the CONVERSION to put the icing on the cake at 42-3 |

The Sharks go wide again to Ludik as they chuck it around. A neat pass from Lambie puts Burden in the clear but he can't find Pietersen and Griquas manage to turn it over. Griquas are playing for pride now as they look for a late consolation. |

The Sharks run it from their 22 as they look to finish with a bang. A dangerous tackle from Venter gives them another good opportunity from the line-out. They set the maul and Coetzee breaks off the back. He has good support and they go wide to Pietersen who runs out of space. It is worked back infield but obstructive running means that Griquas can clear it. |

The Sharks send it down the line to Mvovo who is brought down by Boshoff. The forwards arrive in support and Coetzee takes it up. Ludik breaks the line and it is recycled quickly before McLeod sends it out to Mtembu who is over in the corner for the bonus-point TRY. Lambie nails the CONVERSION to make it 35-3. |

McLeod sends it out to Whitehead as they break out of their half. Burden loses the ball in the tackle and the Griquas swing it out to Jansen but he is shut down quickly. Muller loses it forward in the tackle so the sharks have a scrum in midfield. |

Griquas take it up through their forwards and they are in the sharks' 22 once more. They go wide but Jordaan makes a great tackle and the ball is lost forward which means another Sharks scrum. |

Lambie's clearance kick squirts off the side of his boot so Griquas have another attacking line-out. They maul it close to the tryline Daniel brings it down again and gets a talking-to from the ref. Griquas maul again and Schoeman has a go at the line but he is forced into touch near the corner flag so the Sharks breathe again. |

Bresler loses it forward this time so Griquas have a scrum. Herbst drops his bind so Brummer kicks it into the corner as Griquas look for a try. Downey loses it forward from a sloppy pass so the Sharks have a scrum in their 22. |

Griquas steal the line-out this time and Brummer puts it into touch again. The Sharks go to Pietersen who takes it over the gainline and offloads to Ludik as they storm into the 22. Schoeman enters the ruck from the side so Lambie slots another PENALTY to make it 25-3. |

Bresler takes the restart and Lambie finds a good touch so Griquas will come from the line-out. The Sharks steal it and then go wide to Ludik who joins the line at pace. Cooper makes a good run up to the 22 before they send it out to Whitehead. The ball is stolen at the breakdown by Griquas and Brummer belts it into touch. |

Griquas wing Jannie Boshoff is shown a YELLOW CARD for a dangerous tackle on Jordaan so Lambie has a shot at goal which swerves wide and that is the end of the first half. Deysel goes blindside and takes it over halfway. He finds Pietersen with an inside ball and Coetzee is up in support. He steams into the 22 but gets isolated so Griquas turn it over. Venter throws a long pass which goes into touch so the Sharks stay on the attack. |

Reinach goes up the blindside and finds Ndungane in support. The wing beats a few tackles before giving it back to Reinach who dives over for the TRY. Lambie adds the CONVERSION and the sharks lead 7-0. |

Griquas win the line-out and Brummer kicks long. Ndungane returns the kick and le Roux knocks it on so the Sharks have a scrum on the Griquas 22. Lambie looks for Jordaan but he loses it forward and Griquas break out of their 22 with le Roux putting in a clever chip kick. Daniel loses it forward so Griquas have the scrum. |
