It goes to Jordaan and WP play it on the ground. Deysel takes it quickly and they send it wide to Coetzee. Lambie finds Pietersen on the inside and they are just metres away from the tryline now. Cooper drops it cold and that is the match. Western Province are Currie Cup champions. What a match. |

The Sharks are in great position here. |

Both of the matches between the teams this year was played in wet conditions, and the Sharks adapted best on both occasions so they will be confident of securing a third title in five years. |

Although it is not raining at the moment the pitch is very soft from all of the rain during the week and has been cut up a bit by the Under-21 final in which the blue Bulls just beat Western Province. |
