Chisholm eyes Tri-Nations comeback

Wallabies lock Mark Chisholm admits that he needs a 'miracle' to play any part in the Tri-Nations series, after injury ruled him out of the first four internationals of 2009.
Chisholm was a regular during the Wallabies' year-end tour in 2008 but he has been sidelined since suffering a broken wrist playing for the Brumbies against the Cheetahs in April.
The 27-year-old featured in every match of Australia's 2008 end-of-year tour and he is seen as one of the leading second row forwards in Australia.
However, with the Tr-Nations looming the 40-Test veteran is now targeting the Brumbies' four-match development tour of France to fight his way back into the Test team.
"I've probably got about four or five weeks to go at this stage," Chisholm told AAP.
"Next week it could be a couple of steps ahead of where it is now, but who knows?
"It's heartbreaking, not only missing the Test season but the rest of the Super 14 season, I'm pretty cranky about that.
"I'd like to think that the team needs me but I won't count on it."
Chisholm, along with Queensland trio Hugh McMeniman (ankle), Digby Ioane (shoulder) and Will Genia (ankle) as well as Waratahs young guns Rob Horne and Kurtley Beale (both hamstring) will be unavailable for the Wallabies' Tri-Nations squad to be announced on Thursday.
Loose forwards Rocky Elsom (leg) and Matt Hodgson (shoulder) are also struggling for fitness but the pair is expected to be named in coach Robbie Deans' squad.
