French Barbarians play Canada

The French Barbarians play Canada for the first time at Esquimalt's Bullen Park in Victoria on Saturday.

 Xavier Péméja and Jean François Beltran coach the team with Eric Champ as manager.  In the side are All Blacks Kees Meeuws and Anton Oliver, and full French internationals David Auradou, Julien Pierre, Vincent Debaty,  Thomas Lombard, who is now a 33-year-old veteran, Julien Peyrelongue and Ludovic Valbon.
 
Kieran Crowley's side is not the full side which beat the USA 26-10 in the Churchill Cup as some have returned to the UK or to training camps.

Relative newcomers are Ben Grant, Steve Piatek and James Buchanan.
