Oceania U19s meet

Following Under-19 tournaments in Europe and Africa, Fiji hosted one for the Federation of Oceania of Oceania Rugby Unions (FORU).

Six teams are taking part divided into two pools of three teams each, divided by strength.

Pool A: Samoa, Tonga, Fiji
Pool B: Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu, Tahiti

The winner of Pool B will go to next year's IRB's Junior World Rugby Trophy. All three teams from Pool A will take part again in the IRB's Junior World Championship in Japan next year.
 
For the duration of the tournament, each team will be hosted by a local village – Papua New Guinea in Narewa, Tahiti in Nawaka, Tonga in Vatutu, Vanuatu in Yayusania and Samoa in Navoci.
