Boyet back for the bench

Fri, 04 Jul 2008 15:49

France coach Marc Lièvremont has been forced to bring Benjamin Boyet back into his match-day 22 against Australia on Saturday, due to a late injury.

David Couzinet from the replacement bench is suffering from a stretched left calf, and has been duly replaced by flyhalf Benjamin Boyet.

Boyet failed to impress in the starting XV in Sydney last week, thus will no doubt be hoping to get a run out in Brisbane and make an impact.

France: 15 Benjamin Thiéry, 14 Alexis Palisson, 13 Maxime Mermoz, 12 Thibault Lacroix, 11 David Janin, 10 Francois Trinh-Duc, 9 Sebastien Tillous-Borde, 8 Imanol Harinordoquy, 7 Fulgence Ouedraogo, 6 Matthieu Lièvremont, 5 Lionel Nallet (captain), 4 Sebastien Chabal, 3 Renaud Boyoud, 2 Sebastien Bruno, 1 Pierre Correia.
Replacements (updated): 16 Benjamin Kayser, 17 Benoit Lecouls, 18 Benjamin Boyet, 19 Louis Picamoles 20 Yannick Caballero, 21 Dimitri Yachvili, 22 Jean-Baptiste Peyras.
