Fun of the Fair at Stade de France

Sat, 07 Jun 2008 13:44

Stade Français play Biarritz in Paris and again have seized the opportunity to use Stade de France and have a party.

It will be festive.

The match kicks off at 15.05 and will be shown on Canal+. It is not just the rugby. Roll up for a fun fair in which a match between two of rugby's top clubs will also be a feature.

The gates open at 13.00 and Stade Français will hand out 20 000 flags and "lots more other surprises".

There will an attempt on a Guinness Book of Records record. At each entrance there will be people from Fanbrush who will make up faces in the Stade Français colours. There will be an audited check on the numbers which will be verified by a Guinness World Record judge. The current record is 6 000 made up at an event. Should this be beaten and the number verified, certificates will be handed to Stade de France, Stade Français and Fanbrush.

There will be the  television game Intervilles, a mini-concert by Jennifer, a performance by Eurogirls acrobatics by the troupe Farfadais, the announcement of the teams and a review by the Girls Dories of the Moulin-Rouge. At 15.00 there is the arrival of a mystery balloon and then the match starts - after Pieter de Villiers has kicked off.

At half-time the Eurogirls will again perform.

After the match there will be, quite literally, a fireworks display.

It's the fun of the fair at Stade de France, panis et circenses.
