Two World Cup Finals out of six have ended in draws. A draw at the end of the 2008 Final of the Top 14 between Clermont Auvergne and Stade Français, two evenly matches sides, is possible.
If it happens, what then?
1. Extra time of 20 minutes will be played divided into two halves of 10 minutes each.
2. If the scores are still tied, the team which scored more tries than the other will be the winner.
3. If the scores are still equal, the greater number of penalties wins.
4. If scores are still equal, the greater number of dropped goals wins.
5. If scores are still equal, the team with fewer players sent off wins
6. If scores are still equal a kicking competition takes place until there is a winner.
