Captains concur on cold conditions

All Black captain Richie McCaw and his Irish counterpart Brian O'Driscoll agreed that the cold and wet conditions made things difficult in their Test clash in Wellington on Saturday.
The All Blacks kicked off their 2008 international season with a hard-earned 21-11 win.
"On a day like this its hard work to just hold on to the ball, but we dug deep," said a shivering McCaw afterwards.
"We were better in the second half, but a test win is a test win".
O'Driscoll, draped in a warm blanket at pitch side, said that despite the conditions and the stronger All Black pack, his side had remained competititive.
"We lasted for 60 minutes, but once you start chasing the All Blacks they just open up," said O'Driscoll.
The All Blacks scored two tries to one with Sitiveni Sivivatu and Ma'a Nonu crossing the Irish line and centre Paddy Wallace scoring for the visitors.
