The big match this weekend is between two of the giants of Italian rugby - Treviso and Viadana, locked together in second place. Viadana, down on the Po, has home-ground advantage but both sides will be eagerly supported.

Predictions: Calvisano may not be up to standard yet but its hard to see the champions losing to Capitolina even if it is away. Futura Park Roma have been doing well, especially for a newly promoted side but one would expect Petrarca to win that one. Overmach Cariparma should be able to travel north and win while resurgent Rovigo could well win away. That leaves the big one. Treviso are always so competitive but Viadana are at home which may well give them an edge.
