The Teros of Uruguay have flown over the Atlantic to Europe on a two-Test tour. They beat Portugal 16-9 on Sunday and play Spain on Saturday at Estadio Nacional Complutense in Madrid.

Georgia duly beat their great rivals Russia 15-9 on a rainy day in Sochi, east along the Black Sea from Georgia. They ended the European Nations Cup ('Six Nations B') as the top side.

What a thriller in Dublin! It was a splendid match with a result that was tough on the Irish who scored three tries to one. In Moscow Portugal, who are not going to the World Cup, had a famous victory over Russia who are. And in the Magners League there was a massive shock for Munster. And then there was that tough Final in Las Vegas which South Africa won.
