Italian newcomers Zebre will face the Newport Gwent Dragons in their first Pro12 match next season.
The first weekend of fixtures is packed full of interesting clashes, but all eyes will be on the new Parma-based side who will take their first steps in the competition in Wales.
Zebre technical director Christian Gajan commented: "We're working hard on these first few days of camp in order to be in the best possible shape, both from a physical and technical point of view, when the the Pro12 starts.
"Dragons wasn't on a high in the last few rounds of the last Pro12 but I'm sure they will be back to their best after the summer, teams can change from season to season and as a new-born team we must concentrate on ourselves, not on our opponent," he added.
The Ospreys, who clinched the Pro12 title last year, will square up to the other Italian team Benetton Treviso on the opening weekend whilst other notable clashes see Scarlets take on Heineken Cup champions Leinster and Edinburgh host Munster at Murrayfield.
Round Two sees Cardiff Blues play their first home Pro12 game since completing their return to Cardiff Arms Park when Edinburgh are the visitors.
One new ground will make its bow when Scarlets are the first visitor to Scotstoun Stadium, whilst Connacht will play Zebre in the opening match at Stadio XXV Aprile. Leinster, Munster and Ospreys host the remaining three games in the second round.
