The club, who are winless after four matches, announced on Sunday that Scott has left his role with the club with immediate effect.

CEO Steve Diamond said, “Our results have been poor so far and we decided that we needed to change the coaching structure within the club. We have started the process of finding a replacement to coach the forwards and whilst that process takes place I will be assisting Bryan Redpath prepare the players for the foreseeable future.”

Diamond added, “I would like to place on record my thanks to Steve Scott who has worked hard in his role and always given 100%. I wish him all the best in the future.”
