Mon, 24 Sep 2012 18:19
Chiefs lock James Hanks is to appear at an RFU disciplinary hearing after being cited following Sunday’s Premiership round four match against Saracens at Sandy Park.
Hanks has been charged with allegedly ‘making contact with the eye or eye area of an opponent’, Saracens’ Steve Borthwick, following a report from the RFU citing officer Budge Pountney.
The case will be heard by a panel of His Honour Judge Jeff Blackett (chair), Nick Dark and Mike Curling at the Bristol Filton Holiday Inn on Tuesday.
