Tue, 02 Oct 2012 15:15
London Wasps prop Tim Payne has been suspended for two weeks after pleading guilty to a charge of striking with the knee during the Premiership match against Northampton Saints.
Payne was cited for striking Vasily Artemyev following a report from RFU citing officer Shaun Gallagher.
The suspension runs until October 15 and he is free to play again on October 16.
The case was heard at the Royal Courts of Justice in London by an RFU Disciplinary Panel of Judge Jeff Blackett, Elizabeth Riley and Peter Budge.
