Boshoff faces SARU hearing
Mon, 15 Oct 2012 14:14
Griquas player Jannie Boshoff will appear before SARU judicial officer Jannie Lubbe in Bloemfontein on Tuesday.
Boshoff was cited by Deker Govender after the Currie Cup game between the Sharks and Griquas in Durban last Friday.
It is allegedly that he was in breach of Law 10(4) (J), which states: “Lifting a player from the ground and dropping or driving that player into the ground whilst that player’s feet are still off the ground such that the player’s head and/or upper body come into contact with the ground first is dangerous”.
Griquas, who finished fifth on the Currie Cup standings, have completed their fixtures for the year.
