Samoa may be sweating on the fitness of skipper David Lemi, but they have unearthed another wing wonder.

Samoa may be sweating on the fitness of skipper David Lemi ahead of their clash with Wales at the Millennium Stadium on Friday, but they have unearthed another wing wonder in the shape of Robert Lilomaiava.

The 20-year-old helped himself to four tries on debut in the 42-13 win over Canada in Colwyn Bay and is ready to step into the front line again if Lemi fails to recover in time.

"Robert has been starring in our Sevens side and is another product of our High Performance Unit's academy," said Samoan team manager Sami Leota.

"He made a great start to his international career and gives us options for Cardiff," Leota added.

"It was a good win over Canada, but we know that next weekend will be a step-up against Wales.

"It won't help us that Wales were beaten by Argentina.

"That will make them even more determined to put things right against us and has only made out task at the Millennium Stadium even harder."

Wales will also have to beware of another new cap blooded by Samoa in north Wales, former Sydney Roosters and now London Irish centre Setaimata Sa, while Wellington fullback James So'oialo kicked 17 points.

"The players reviewed the Canadian game before watching Wales on TV," Leota said.

"Their view was that there are plenty of areas to tighten up on and improve before Friday night.

"We've known about the game in Cardiff since the start of the year and it has been one of the games the players have been looking forward to. But we know it is going to be very tough," added Leota.
