Makhaya Ntini played Sevens for Kaizer Chiefs in George on Saturday.
Yes, that sentence is entirely correct. The South African cricket legend who took 390 Test wickets for his country put in a shift on the wing at the Sevens Premier League on Saturday.
Ntini was appointed as manager of the Chiefs team for the tournament and made his appearance towards the end of the 3rd and 4th place play-off match in the Bowl competition.
The fast bowler showed up well, coming up short of the tryline and putting in two good tackles.
