France and Toulon utility back Frederic Michalak faces at least three weeks on the sidelines with a dislocated shoulder, his national team boss Philippe Saint-Andre said Sunday.

Michalak was forced off nine minutes from time with the injury to his left shoulder as France ended their miserable Six Nations campaign with a 23-16 success over Scotland, which nonetheless failed to prevent them finishing up with the wooden spoon.

The 30-year-old had his arm in a sling on Sunday at France's Parisien hotel.

Saint-Andre said he would be out for "a minimum of three to four weeks" meaning he risks missing Toulon's European Cup quarter-final against Leicester on April 7.

There was better news concerning Clermont's Morgan Parra, however, despite the France scrum-half hobbling about on crutches on Sunday.

He was replaced at half-time against Scotland after injuring his ankle and lower leg but Saint-Andre said "the news is largely good" when asked about Parra.

It means he should be fit for Clermont's European Cup quarterfinal at home to Montpellier on April 6.
