Wednesday D-Day for injured stars
The Bulls remain hopeful prop Dean Greyling and fullback Zane Kirchner will be cleared to face the Cheetahs in a Super Rugby crunch match on Saturday.
The duo face fitness tests on Wednesday, ahead of Saturday's trip to Bloemfontein.
Kirchner has recovered from finger surgery, but is still suffering tenderness following the removal of a screw.
Greyling limped off the field with an ankle injury during the 18-16 win over the Sharks at the weekend.
Dewald Potgieter, Akona Ndungane and Louis Fouché will also only return to the training field on Wednesday following the bruising match in Durban.
It was also reported from the Springbok training squad in Durban that locks Flip van der Merwe and Juandrè Kruger did not train due to niggles.
They will remain with the Bok training squad till Tuesday, when all the players return to their franchises.
The long-term injury list sees regulars Paul Willemse (eight weeks till his return) and Cornell Hess (six months) on the casualty list - after both underwent knee surgery.
Wiaan Liebenberg (AC shoulder, three weeks), Travis Ismaiel (shoulder, three weeks) and Frans Venter (groin, two weeks) will be back sooner.
