O'Connor the Rebel is now a Pirate

The West Harbour Pirates have signed Melbourne Rebel and Wallaby James O'Connor on a three-year deal.
The Concord-based club secured terms with the young talent last week.
O'Connor, with 37 Test caps for the Wallabies, joins Melbourne Rebel teammate, Rory Sidey, at the club and despite interstate-travel challenges and Wallaby commitments, is keen to support the Pirates wherever and whenever possible.
This new signing is great news for the club, who are performing well in the opening nine rounds of the Shute Shield season, sitting at fifth place on the ladder with four consecutive wins under their belts.
O'Connor's experience, playing both international and top-tier rugby, will bolster a team known for its instinctively-talented players, lending composure and structure.
