Both of these players have big futures here
London Wasps have continued to tie up the future of some of the club’s bright young talent with James Cannon and Will Taylor the latest players to agree contract extensions.
Taylor, 22, is coming off the back of an impressive first season in the front row, having joined the club last year from Ospreys. The tighthead prop made 21 appearances for Wasps last season and is among a pool of highly promising young front row players being progressed at the club.
Cannon, 24, is another forward continuing to press his claim for a starting spot week in week out and with 22 appearances last season, he’ll be hoping for more in the year ahead.
London Wasps Director of Rugby Dai Young said: “We’ve got a strong group of young forwards here and we want to make sure that these players develop and progress together at this club.
“Will is obviously a young player learning the ropes in a tough position but he’s done very well over the past year and he is part of a good mix of talent battling for those front row positions.
“James is another player fighting for a place in a competitive pool of locks we have here, but he’s improving all the time and both of these players have big futures here.”
