France fullback Brice Dulin will be sidelined for up to two months after being the victim of an attack that left him with a broken jaw.

Dulin confirmed the incident to AFP via text message and has been ruled out of Castres’ pre-season friendly with Connacht on August 7 and their two opening Top 14 matches against Perpignan and Grenoble.

The incident occurred on Friday during a festival in Mont-de-Marsan, where Dulin and some of his Castres teammates were showing off the French championship trophy they won in June after they upset European champions Toulon 19-14 in the Final at the Stade de France.
