No change at the top

Quote-end

Paarl Gim cling to their top ranking ahead of their big derby this weekend, but there are still schools that can challenge their place.

There were big victories this past weekend for Paarl Gim over Boland Landbou,  Affies over Glenwood, Grey Bloem over Grey PE, Outeniqua over Framesby, Garsfontein over Florida, Die Brandwag over Oudtshoorn, Drostdy over Bishops, and Bethlehem Voortrekker over Witteberg.

These results ensured no change at the top, except that Garsfontein and St Andrew's have each risen a place.

We have stopped ranking Westville and Kearsney who are now playing soccer. Of course, there's nothing wrong with playing soccer but it does not add to their rugby achievements. They will be back in contention at the end of the season, at the end of August when we produce the last Top 20 for 2013.

Bethlehem Voortrekker and Oakdale have come into the FNB Top 20 in their stead.
