Trevor did very well against the Sharks and he showed that he wants to play rugby
The Free State Cheetahs have reshuffled their front row for the clash with Griquas in Bloemfontein on Saturday.
Tighthead prop Rossouw de Klerk replaces Caylib Oosthuizen, who injured his shoulder in the defeat to the Sharks last week, so Bok prop Trevor Nyakane moves across to the loosehead side.
Cheetahs coach Naka Drotske said that De Klerk deserves his opportunity whilst Oosthuizen has a few things he needs to work on.
"Rossouw has done well in the games he played for the Griffons in the Currie Cup First Division. He deserves a chance," Drotske said.
"Caylib knows what the situation is and we trust he will work hard to regain his place."
Drotske said that Nyakane's versatility is a blessing and backed the Bok prop to put in another good performance.
"Trevor did very well against the Sharks and he showed that he wants to play rugby," Drotske said.
"His versatility is such a huge plus for the side. We look forward to another good performance by him."
Lock Waltie Vermeulen recovered from a mouth-injury and will play off the bench.
