Hartpury College and Drybrook player Harrison Pickett has been suspended for two years by the Rugby Football Union for an anti doping violation.
The player tested positive for Oxymetholone, an Exogenous Anabolic Androgenic Steroid and a prohibited substance, at a squad doping control test at Hartpury College on October 3.
A disciplinary panel of doctor Julian Morris, Siobhan Abrahams and Tom Rees suspended him from October 9, 2013 (the date of the original temporary suspension) until October 8, 2015. He is free to play again the following day.
The player admitted to the offence and agreed to the case being heard on papers without attending in person.
