Glasgow Warriors will have to wait to return to winning ways in the PRO12 after their clash against Treviso on Friday was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

Heavy rain throughout the day in Glasgow led to a pitch inspection at Scotstoun at 18.05 and match officials ruled it would be impossible to play.

The Warriors have lost their last three games in all competitions at home and head coach Gregor Townsend was keen to get back to winning ways ahead of the double header against Edinburgh after Christmas.

Updates regarding the re-scheduled fixture will follow.
