Jones joins Warriors on loan

Edinburgh have agreed to loan wing Lee Jones to Glasgow Warriors as injury cover until the end of the season.
The 25 year-old, who has made two appearances for the club this season, was due to represent Scotland Sevens in the fifth leg of the IRB Sevens World Series in Wellington this weekend but, following his release, has returned for the Warriors' forthcoming matches in the Pro12.
Head coach, Alan Solomons, said: "Glasgow are desperately short of back three players because of injuries and international duty and we felt that it was in the best interests of Scottish rugby to sanction this loan from our squad, which was followed by his release from the Scotland Sevens team.
"Lee can certainly contribute in that area and we wish him all the very best in this new challenge.”
