Sentraal skipper DP de Lange is expecting a fierce test when Jim Fouche visit them for their FNB Classic Clash this weekend.
The talented flyhalf is in his third year playing for the Sentraal first team, and was part of the side that thumped Jim Fouche 41-10 on their home turf last year, so he knows they will be looking for revenge on Saturday.
They will give it everything to beat us on our home field," he said.
Sentraal have had some mixed results this season, and their depth will be tested this weekend so De Lange is expecting a hard-fought encounter.
"We have had a few ups and downs but our best game was when we beat Waterkloof 35-21. We have a few injuries amongst our senior players, so we have a new team with young and old players," he said.
The Sentraal skipper made the SA Under-16 High Performance squad when he was in Grade 10, which he considers the highlight of his playing career so far, and hopes to one day play rugby professionally.
"I want to be signed as a professional rugby player and represent my country on international level. I ‘am a great attacking player and i can lead my team anywhere," he said.
He added that being chosen as captain of his school was a great honour and said that he has told his team to make the most of the occasion on Saturday.
"It is a great honour to know that the players trust me to lead them. I told them to enjoy the game and give there everything for the school and the team. They must remember big school games like this only come once or twice in a career," he said.
