The big matches on Wednesday are the semifinals

Marlize Jordaan of South Africa, appointed as a referee to the Women's Rugby World Cup has been out injured with damage to her ankle ligaments but she is nudging her way back and has been appointed as an assistant referee for Wednesday's matches, still hoping to referee on the last day of the tournament in Paris.

The big matches on Wednesday are the semifinals between England and Ireland and Canada and France with Amy Perrett of Australia and Helen O'Reilly to referee them.

For the first time in the tournament there will be a TMO appointed for the last three matches of the day which will be played at Jean Bouin Stadium, Stade Français's home ground..
