Ross becomes the sixth Chiefs man to be ruled out for the season, and the sixth prop forward they have lost since the start of the 2018 campaign.
Like Ross, fellow prop Moli was also ruled out for the season while Nepo Laulala, Kane Hames, Mitchell Graham, and Sefo Kautai are still working their way back to full fitness.
