The squad also comprised almost entirely of players who will participate for the Argentinean franchise in the expanded Super Rugby competition next year.

"We have four new players who could not be at the World Cup, but were always in our consideration," Hourcade said.

"They replace players who are in Europe and are not available, so we hope that they can give their best for this match.

"It's a team that aims to do very well in Super Rugby next year.

"This is a good opportunity to begin to mould and shape the team."

The Pumas coach was also full of praise for a BaaBaas side littered with up-and-coming young stars – along with some legends.

"The game is very important, because it helps us to continue to grow as a team and must be taken with the seriousness it deserves.

"For us will be a great challenge against a very strong team, which will serve to ratify what we did in the World Cup."
