The scrumhalf last played for the Wallabies more than a month ago, in the 33-21 win over Argentina in London.

It's a milestone game for star fullback Israel Folau, who will bring up his 50th cap in the rematch of the 2015 World Cup quarterfinal.

The 27-year-old has raced to the half century mark, only missing three possible Tests since making his debut against the British and Irish Lions in June 2013.

Reserve scrumhalf Nick Phipps will also get the chance to earn his 50th cap after making his debut against Samoa in 2011.

Phipps' switch to the bench is one of four changes to the reserves with Dean Mumm returning following a one-week suspension and Will Skelton set for his first Test since August.
