England's Launchbury cited over Fiji incident
NEWS: England lock Joe Launchbury has been cited for kicking Asaeli Tikoirotuma during Saturday's 58-15 victory over Fiji, disciplinary chiefs said on Sunday.
The incident is alleged to have occurred in the second minute of the game at Twickenham, when Launchbury, 25, appeared to take aim at the ball, only to hit the Fiji centre.
Wasps forward Launchbury, who will go before a disciplinary hearing on Monday, faces a sanction of between four and 12 weeks if he is found guilty.
Other players to face disciplinary hearings after Saturday's action include Nicolas Sanchez, Sam Cane and Malakai Fekitoa.
Sanchez, the Argentina flyhalf, has been cited for allegedly striking an opponent in the 38th minute of the second half of the match between Scotland and Argentina at Murrayfield.
Cane, the New Zealand flank forward, has been cited for allegedly tackling an opponent dangerously in the 11th minute of the first half of the match between Ireland and New Zealand at the Aviva Stadium and Fekitoa for allegedly tackling an opponent dangerously in the same match.
