France will face New Zealand in Paris on November 26 for the first time since they were humiliated 62-13 at the 2015 World Cup.

"It gives a bit of hope that we can do a little something to upset them. We have said that we'll try to give them a headache.

"I don't know if it will lead to a similar result of the Irish but it's certain that the French players will also give their best," ," said Noves after seeing Ireland secure their first win in over a century against the All Blacks.

Despite being "amazed" by the "magnitude of the score" in the game in Chicago, Noves tempered expectations of his team performing similar heroics.

"The All Blacks are human," said Noves who added that maybe the All Blacks were under-prepared for the game against Ireland.

"They are immense champions and competitors. They will not tolerate back-to-back defeats. One run has stopped but another can start."
