Tuilagi heads to Toulon

Tuilagi will come into the squad as a medical joker, replacing Vincent Clerc according to the French online newspaper  L'Equipe.

Clerc ruptured his archilles tendon during Toulon's 6-30 Top 14 loss to Clermont and will be sidelined for four to five months.

The injury to the French international is a big loss for the club, but Toulon are hopeful that the new addition will fill the void ahead of their European Cup encounter against defending champions Saracens.

Tuilagi, former wing of Leicester and Newcastle, has been without a contract since the beginning of the season.
