Injury blow hits Toulouse

Toulouse head coach Ugo Mola revealed that flyhalf underwent a facial operation on Friday and will be absent from the clash.

"Jean-Marc was operated on this morning, we have to deal with that," Mola said.

"It's the kind of news we could have done without. It's yet another player who will be missing for the championship run-in,"

Doussain was injured during last weekend's European Champions Cup defeat at Munster.

Toulouse are already without Scotland lock Richie Gray and France wing Yoann Huget for Sunday's match, which will be played at Marseille's Stade Velodrome.

"We don't yet know the length of (Doussain's) absence, it will depend on how he reacts to the operation and his recovery over the coming days," added Mola.

Toulouse are in turmoil in the French Top 14, lying down in 10th place and five points off the end of season top six play-off spots. They have not missed out on the play-offs in 41 years.

Defeat to Toulon could potentially see Toulouse drop realistically out of play-off contention.
