All Black Gear heads to Narbone
TRANSFER NEWS: All Black Hosea Gear signed a deal with French Pro two club Narbonne on Monday.
Gear signed a two-year contract with Narbonne from Top 14 side Lyon.
Gear arrived in France in May 2013, signing for Toulouse then Clermont, where he only started one game before joining Lyon last season.
The wing earned 14 caps for New Zealand between 2008 and 2012.
The 33-year-old made his All Blacks debut against Australia in the Bledisloe Cup on November 1 in 2008.
In 2010 Gear switched codes from 15-man and made his sevens debut for New Zealand at the 2010 Commonwealth Games.
