INJURY UPDATE: It never rains, but it pours. This adage certainly rings true for one New Zealander.

Flyhalf Simon Hickey is out for three months with concussion and a knee injury, his club Bordeaux-Begles said.

The 23-year-old former Blues No.10 was forced off after an hour in Bordeaux's 13-29 loss yo Racing 92 last weekend due to a head knock.

But in a tweet on Friday, Bordeaux said he was also suffering from knee ligament damage and would be out for three months.

South African Tian Schoeman and Frenchman Matthieu Jalabert are set to deputise in his absence.
