Pulu joins All Black squad

Pulu replaces Aaron Smith after the latter stood down from selection in the wake of his toilet tryst scandal.

However, All Blacks assistant coach Ian Foster revealed that Pulu is unlikely to feature in the matchday 23 with TJ Perenara and Tawera Kerr-Barlow the favourites to be the two scrumhalves in the team.

Foster says Pulu will only feature in the event of an injury to either Perenara or Kerr-Barlow.

Perenara started in the All Blacks record 57-15 win over the Springboks in their final Rugby Championship game at Kings Park in Durban, while Kerr-Barlow provided cover off the bench.

A win against Australia on Saturday will see the All Blacks achieve a record 18th straight victory.
