Thompson added to Maori All Blacks squad

NEWS: Canterbury centre Rob Thompson has been selected for the the Maori All Blacks squad to tour Chicago and the United Kingdom.

Head coach Colin Cooper said that an injury to Declan O'Donnell opened the door for Thompson who will run out for Canterbury in this weekend's National Provincial Championship finals. 

"We've been impressed with Rob's form in NPC and we think he will slot right into the team environment."

The squad assembles in Auckland on before they fly out on Sunday.
